Elizabeth Joanna Mitchell - born 27 March 1970 at 5' 9" height, is a famous American actor, best known for the actor the character Dr. Juliet Burke of ABC's Lost TV show. Gia and The Escape Clause. Mitchell is currently co-starring in Eric Kripke's television show Revolution that is on NBC. Joseph Day Mitchell's father is a lawyer in Dallas, as are the mother of her character Josephine Marian Mitchell. Mitchell along with her mother and their two children relocated from New York in Dallas Texas where Mitchell's mother was married in 1975. Mitchell was a student at Booker T. Washington High School of the Performing and Visual Arts, a public magnet high school. Mitchell is one of three siblings. One of them is Kristina Kristie Mitchell. Katherine Day Kate Mitchell was born that same year. In 1991, she graduated at Stephens College with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in acting and she was also enrolled at the British American Drama Academy.Mitchell worked for six years in Dallas Theater Center and a time in the Encore Theater. According to a June report from 2010, her character in Criminal Minds will be diminished for the 6th season. Brewster quit the show in March 2011 however, she could return at a later date.
