Awkwafina

American musician and actor Awkwafina made her debut with humorous songs that dealt with sexual identity and race with a the most outrageous comedy perspective prior to broadening her reach to Hollywood. She was born Nora Lum to Chinese and Korean immigrants from Forest Hills Queens her first encounter with the world of music was through the trumpet. Her classical, jazz and hip-hop education began when she was a teenager. After concentrating on education, she graduated with a degree in journalism in university and also a women's study specialization. However, it wasn't until she graduated that she turned her attention towards music. Following her viral success through the Internet, her My Vag song My Vag was a reaction to the Mickey Avalon song My Dick. It eventually was included on her debut album Yellow Ranger. It also included viral hits like body-positive Queef and a wink-y home tour NYC Bitche$. The latter song was linked directly to another project, Awkwafina's NYC A travel guide that was released in 2015. The singer decided to make a career as an actor after having completed her two previous projects, as an author and musician. In addition to early television shows such as Girl Code and Tawk, she's also appeared in movies including Neighbors2Storks and Bad Rap. In 2018, she landed a number of major roles like Dude Ocean's 8, or Crazy Rich Asians. In June she debuted her debut film, In Fina We Trust.
