Jana Kramer bio

Jana Kramer, an actor and songwriter, who specialises in country-pop music as well as songwriting, gained fame on TV when she became Alex during the final three seasons of One Tree Hill. Kramer was in numerous episodes as a new country artist, which allowed her album make it to the Billboard 200 Top 20. Thirty One from 2015 reached 10th place. In the final decade of her career the year, she appeared on Dancing with the Stars. It was 2021 when The Doubting Voices came out. Jana Rae Kramer, born in Rochester Hills Michigan and raised there, fell in love with the music of country. Later she would pursue a record career. Her first role acting in the indie horror flick Dead/Undead in 2002, when she was still an teen. Her appearances were in guest spots for All My Children, CSI: NY and Friday Night Lights in the second season of the show 2007-2008. Kramer was next seen on 90210 for the character of Portia Randson in 2008 through 2009 and also as Brooke Manning for Entourage 2009. In 2009 she joined One Tree Hill's ensemble in the role of Alex Dupre. Kramer remained in the role until midway through the final season of One Tree Hill. Jana Kramer Kramer, during her time on One Tree Hill signed with Elektra Records. She debuted contemporary country song I Won't give up in a 2011 One Tree Hill episode. It was later featured in her full-length debut Jana Kramer in mid-2012. The track landed in the Top Five of the Billboard Top Country Albums chart. She continued to act in films like Heart of the Country 2013 or Country Crush 2016 which would be appealing to her fanbase. The second album of Kramer, Thirty One came out on Warner Music Nashville by Kramer in October of the year 2015. I Got the Boy (a Top Five country single) and Steven Tyler's duet on Aerosmith helped the album to be even more successful and landed at the third spot at the top of the Billboard 200. Her two-month appearance on the Dancing with the Stars 23rd season ended in her placing fourth. She also scored an adult contemporary hit with the song Feels like Christmas, featuring Straight No Chaser.
