Linda Edna Cardellini (n e Lorraine (Hernan) is the daughter of Wayne David Cardellini (a successful businessman). Her parents are of Italian origins (her paternal grandpa), Irish, German, English and Scottish (her mother). Linda is a native of San Francisco Bay and grew to be the youngest of four kids. At the age of ten, old, Linda became fascinated with acting following her performance in an instrumental role in the Christmas show at her school. She also continued doing school plays and the community theatre. Linda graduated from Saint Francis High School Mountain View, California. After graduating, she had to make a decision about whether she wanted to go into New York to pursue theater or Los Angeles to pursue film and television. The choice was LA. Linda was the first actress to play a major part in Bone Chillers, a 1996 television show. The year 1999 saw her land her first major role as Lindsay Weir on the series Freaks and Geeks. In the critically acclaimed show, she played the role of decathlete Lindsay Weir. The show was awarded an Emmy Award under the category of Outstanding Casting Comedy Series.

Lily James is a stage name used for Lily Chloe Ninette Thomson, an English actress born the 5th of April, 1989. Her acting career began in the year 2010 with the British television series Just William, in which she studied at London's Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Cinderella (2015) was her first feature film, following the role she was the lead actress in Lady Rose MacClare (2012-2015) in Downton Abbey, the period television drama. James went onto portray the Countess Natasha Rostova, in the TV version of War & Peace, in 2016. She also appeared in a number of films. They include the action movie Baby Driver (2017) and the period dramas Darkest Hour (2017) and The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society (2018 and 2021) and the musicals Mamma Mia! We're Going To Again (2019) as well as Yesterday (2018). In 2022, her performance as Pamela Anderson was recognized with a Golden Globe nomination and a Primetime Emmy Award.
